Data Dashboard

Created as part of our Rape Prevention and Education Grant Project, this dashboard helps users to discover how common sexual and intimate partner violence are in Nebraska and explore some factors that can help prevent violence before it happens. A person’s risk of experiencing violence is shaped by many factors, including where they are born, live, learn, work, and play, and the experiences they have in those environments.

Navigating & Understanding the dashboard

This dashboard has three views or pages:

  1. Information on the prevalence of sexual and intimate partner violence in Nebraska compared to other states.
  2. County or regional information about factors that can increase a person’s risk of experiencing violence.
  3. Information about those same risk factors in each area where a network survivor advocacy organization provides services.

You can switch between views by clicking the United States icon, the Nebraska icon, or the map marker icon in the top right corner of the dashboard.

To learn more about where the data comes from and how we analyzed it, please see our Dashboard Data Dictionary.
