  • As a general rule, we do not share survivor’s names or contact information.

I’m a reporter, and I would like to talk to someone at the Nebraska Coalition for a story I’m working on.

I need help/services/support.

  • The Nebraska Coalition does not provide direct services to survivors besides some specific legal services, which are open to referrals only. However, we support a statewide network of local service-providing organizations that offer 24-hour crisis helplines, emergency shelter, transportation, medical advocacy, legal assistance, and ongoing support. Find your local network service provider to get started.

I’m looking for legal help.

  • The Nebraska Coalition’s legal services are offered only on a referral basis. However, you may find our Legal Resources page helpful.

What services does the Nebraska Coalition offer?

  • We do not provide direct services to survivors besides some specific legal services which are open to referrals only. However, we support a statewide network of local service-providing organizations that offer 24-hour crisis helplines, emergency shelter, transportation, medical advocacy, legal assistance, and ongoing support.

I want to report previous/current domestic/sexual violence incident(s).

  • You will need to reach out to your local law enforcement. If you have any trouble or need additional assistance, you can reach out to your local network organization. They have advocates who are better able to provide direct assistance.

I’m a survivor, and I’m interested in sharing my story, becoming an activist, or helping others.

I want to help, but I don’t know how.

  • There are many ways you can get involved. Consider donating to the Nebraska Coalition, subscribing to our newsletter, following and engaging with us on social media, and telling your friends, family, and colleagues to do the same. You can also do the same to support your local network organization.

I’m interested in volunteering.

I’d like to offer my support or services to the Nebraska Coalition.

  • We occasionally put out requests for proposals or estimates when we need additional support or services. To stay informed on future requests, please subscribe to our newsletter (see below).

Can you share my survey/resource/opportunity with your network and followers?

  • Generally, we prioritize Nebraska-specific and national partner requests. However, we may consider other requests on a case-by-case basis. You are welcome to contact us.
