Purple Thursday

October 15, 2026 • All Day
Everywhere

Chances are someone in your life is a survivor of domestic violence, even if they have never shared their story with you. Show your support for survivors of domestic violence by wearing purple (the color of domestic violence prevention) on October 15th. Wear purple clothes, nail polish, hats, shoes, or jewelry. Get your pets involved with purple accessories. Post a selfie or group picture on social media using #Every1KnowsSome1 and #DVAM. Make your virtual background purple. By wearing purple, you signal that you support survivors and are safe to talk to if they need to reach out.
