Prevention Basics Session 2: Social Determinants of Health
This training series will cover a range of topics to help participants learn prevention basics. In this interactive series, participants will learn about different levels of prevention and how it is already happening in people’s daily work; social determinants of health and how to create protective environments; health equity and how this can help people better serve their communities; and prevention in action with real-world examples from member programs. Participants are welcome but not required to join all four sessions.
This training series is open to staff, volunteers, and board members working with Nebraska's network of sexual assault/domestic violence programs.
