Promoting a Survivor-Centered Understanding of Human Trafficking
January will be here before you know it. Are you ready for Human Trafficking Prevention Month?
Mark your calendars and make plans to join us for Promoting a Survivor-Centered Understanding of Human Trafficking ¬− a training session presented by the Nebraska Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence. Moving beyond the basics, this session will help you understand and explain how certain messages might cause harm to individual survivors and the movement to end human trafficking. Participants will receive access to new tools and resources for identifying potentially harmful messaging and crafting more empowering messaging around human trafficking. Our goal for this session is to help you enhance your Human Trafficking Prevention Month efforts and gain confidence in effectively addressing the issue in your community.
This training session is open to all staff working with Nebraska's network of sexual assault/domestic violence programs.
