Realistic and Strategic Evaluation Plans
Realistic and Strategic Evaluation Plans
Support and Training for the Evaluation of Programs (STEPs) at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in partnership with the Nebraska Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services invites you to attend Realistic and Strategic Evaluation Plans.
This hands-on training will build on the 2018 RPE pre-conference training to provide specific guidance and next steps for developing a draft evaluation plan for their organization that is realistic and strategic. Attendees will fine tune and expand their prior work to draft a more thorough evaluation plan. Following the training, STEPs will work with organizations through individual technical assistance to fine tune and finalize their evaluation plans for submission to DHHS.
As a result of attending this training, attendees will be able to:
1) Apply components of the CDC Evaluation Framework
2) Develop an organizational evaluation plan by:
• Identifying the purpose, users, and use of the evaluation
• Writing realistic and useful evaluation questions
• Selecting valid and reliable measurement tools
• Designing a plan to gather credible evidence including measurement tool administration, data collection, data analysis, and reporting
• Understand next steps for evaluation plan implementation
