Advocacy in Criminal Cases
Advocacy in the Criminal Justice System is a training opened to staff and volunteers working for one of Nebraska's domestic violence and sexual assault programs.
This training will provide advocates with an opportunity to:
· understand the role of the advocate in the Criminal Justice System
· discover the laws survivors encounter in the Criminal Justice System
· examine confidentiality and assess its impact on subpoenas and mandatory reporting
· explore how to advocate when victims are charged with crimes
