Creating Change at the Community Level

Sexual violence is too big of an issue to address solely in classrooms. Our sexual violence prevention efforts must extend out into communities. This webinar will lead participants through a series of considerations when creating community-level change, including: who to partner with in sexual violence prevention strategies, what type of community-level data to use to inform those strategies, how to assess necessary and actual resources needed to create change, how to engage the community in change, and other considerations when planning, implementing, and evaluating community-level prevention strategies. This webinar is geared towards local domestic violence/sexual assault programs that receive Rape Prevention and Education (RPE) funding, although all programs in Nebraska’s network of domestic violence/sexual assault programs are invited to participate.
