In this interactive workshop facilitated by Rainbow Research will allow participants to learn the basics of best practices for focus group design and facilitation, as well as give an introduction on ways to analyze data collected through focus groups.

Survivors, advocates, and community partners are invited to attend!

Objectives:
• Refresh on the purposes and uses of evaluation and how focus groups can fit into an overall evaluation plan;
• Learn best practices in designing and facilitating a focus group for the purposes of evaluation, program feedback, or community
assets and needs assessments;
• Gain exposure to analysis methods for qualitative data; and,
• Discuss practical strategies for participant safety, building trust, and maximizing participant power for survivors of violence within the
context of qualitative data collection.
