Join us for a webinar as we discuss LGBTQ+ terminology and elements that are fundamentals to working with Survivors within these communities.

Course learning objectives:

I: Attendees will understand the difference between sexual orientation and gender identity
II: Attendees will be able to identify basic terminology
II: Attendees will be able to articulate at least 2 strategies for creating an inclusive environment

This course will be conducted by Andrew Aleman, take a moment to read more about your trainer:
Andrew Aleman (he|him|his) is the Human Trafficking Program Coordinator for the Nebraska Coalition to Sexual and Domestic Violence. In addition to identifying within the community, Andrew is extremely involved in the LGBTQ+ community in Omaha, NE, and serves as the Co-Chair for GLSEN Omaha- An organization that focuses on safe schools for all. Prior to joining the coalition’s team, Andrew worked with LGBTQ+ individuals in multiple settings, including: therapy, case management, community organizing, etc...
