Legal Information
Through referrals from network programs, the Nebraska Coalition provides direct legal services to individuals with Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) self-petitions, U visas, T visas, and related filings before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). When fully staffed, the Nebraska Coalition also provides legal representation to survivors for protection orders, custody, and divorce.

Women's Fund of Omaha's Legal Guide for Representing Victims/Survivors of Sex Trafficking offers information to help advocates working within Nebraska’s legal system to better understand the complex realities of sex trafficking, learn how to support survivors, and gather insight into state and federal legislation.
