The Nebraska Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence represents victim advocacy programs and survivors of power-based violence across the state. The Nebraska Coalition advises policy makers, elected officials, and community leaders on the needs of survivors, the realities of sexual, domestic, and similar types of violence, and the importance of prevention efforts. 

 

2025 Nebraska Legislative Session

The Nebraska Legislature convened on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Bill introduction ran from January 8 until January 23. As the first year of the biennium, the 90-day session will tentatively end on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. For more details, please see the Legislative Calendar.

The Nebraska Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence offers one-on-one support to survivors of sexual, domestic, and similar types of violence who choose to share their stories and testify on legislative bills. The Nebraska Coalition provides resources, guidance, and emotional support to help survivors navigate the legislative process.
